What does LexLegal do?

LexLegal provides professional paralegal and conveyancing support to solicitors, law firms and property professionals. We assist with the paralegal and administrative aspects of residential conveyancing transactions — keeping files organised, matters progressing and communication clear from instruction to post-completion. LexLegal is not a law firm. Any reserved legal activities are carried out by or under the supervision of the instructed solicitor or regulated firm.

Do you act as the solicitor on the transaction?

No. LexLegal provides paralegal and conveyancing support services to legal professionals. We do not provide regulated legal advice and do not act as the solicitor on any matter. All reserved legal activities and client-facing legal work remain with the instructed solicitor or regulated firm at all times. Our role is to provide professional support that helps the file progress — not to act in the solicitor's position.

Who do you work with?

LexLegal works with law firms, consultant solicitors, conveyancing solicitors, mortgage brokers, estate agents, property developers, investors and property sourcers. Our support is structured around the needs of professionals involved in residential conveyancing transactions.

Can you support overflow work during busy periods?

Yes — overflow support is one of the most common ways firms and consultant solicitors use LexLegal. We can step in quickly across searches, enquiries, reports and completion preparation, helping you maintain service levels when your team is under pressure.

What kind of conveyancing matters can you support with?

We support residential conveyancing matters including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases. Our support covers the full transaction lifecycle: file opening, AML, search coordination, title review support, enquiry drafting and follow-up, report drafting, exchange and completion preparation, post-completion and Land Registry support. Every firm and professional works differently. Through the discovery call and setup process, we agree the scope of support, how communication will work, which tasks are included and how the arrangement will be structured. Support can be adjusted as your needs change.
